The silicone print that provides excellent grip is not just a "good thing"; it is designed to meet the specifications required for football.
The MC line silicone print, which runs from the back of the heel to the opening, takes into account the grip with the heel of the cleats and the layering effect when worn over calf socks. The dotted print also takes comfort into consideration, achieving both functionality and design.
The silicone print is applied only to the upper part of the instep in a small area, preventing interference with putting on the cleats and preventing lateral slippage of the tongue.
Mizuno's unique motion analysis of the sole analyzed the most common changes of direction and turns in soccer. The forefoot is designed with a placement, angle, and thickness that minimizes lateral slippage starting from the ball of the foot. The heel is positioned to provide a surface contact for stable contact with the ground. The toes are positioned vertically to support the final push-off.
The silicone print placement, derived from motion analysis, is designed to complement the "4+1+4" stud arrangement commonly used in the forefoot of Mizuno's spike outsoles.
